Photos of the Days – It’s been a while…

Due to my lack of access to real internet, the fact that I have an internship across the state and a nearly full-time job, I haven’t been able to upload my photos of the day or make some good blog entries. But without further agonizing, here are the photos!

Photo of the Day – Dinner At Murray’s

March 25, 2010

Okay, so this is from yesterday actually. Last night, I had dinner with some cool people at Murray‘s flat. (This is like free press for you, man.)

I forgot to take a picture while we were eating, so here is the left overs and dessert. That's right, I made the cookies.

Photo of the Day – Milk and Cookie

March 12, 2010

Milk and cookie on cheap white porcelain on faux wood laminate.

If you’ve been keeping up with some of my posts, you would know my favorite place to grocery shop is Sainsbury’s for their good sale items and generally cheap food. I took up the sale of a pack of five cookies, each buy one get one for 1 Pound. Nice! Then there’s the milk, which is expensive everywhere. But they merged to form a cheap yummy dessert. What made it great was popping the cookie in the micro. Wish I could bake my own cookies here (but I’m baking a small cake this weekend).

Photo of the Day – Cookies and Soy Milk

Cookies and Soy Milk

Last evening my mate and I were sitting in our apartment. Starved, we made our way to a Tesco Express at 9 p.m. She was craving the Tesco Bourbon Cream chocolate cookies and Tesco soy milk. I was craving something to do, and a ‘photo of the day.’ Non-the-less here is a four-frame spread for my photo of the day.

English Tea

My new mates and I had some tea at the Regency Hotel last evening sponsored by our study abroad program. Here’s a bit of the action.

Cookies

This is the most sequential thing I’ve shot on the Canon T1i. Clearly its automatic settings aren’t the greatest in low light – it’s no 5d Mark, but I think the results are great compared to other still cameras that shoot video.

There are a few continuity errors. Feel free to point them out. I’ll keep a tally.

Not too sure how to categorize this piece, but one might consider calling it a documentary montage. It’s not really an essay. For the record, the cat jumped up there herself (poor manners).

More to come!
